Hillsboro - Miss Bernice Hyatt, 81, of Hillsboro, died Monday morning in her home. Miss Hyatt was a resident of HIllsboro for 72 years. She had taught in the Hillsboro School, retiring in 1961. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. She was a 1920 graduate of Hillsboro HS and a graduate of Central Normal College, Danville, Ind. She was born May 6, 1900, near Newtown, the daughter of John W. and Etha Keefer Hyatt. She is survived by a brother, Harry V. Hyatt of Lafayette; three nephews; and a niece. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Thomas Inabinette officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hkll Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.Wednesday.

Miss Bernice Hyatt of Hillsboro, age 81, died Monday morning, June 1, at her home. She was born near Newtown, May 6, 1900, the daughter of John W. and Etha Keefer Hyatt. A member of Hillsboro Christian Church, she was a 1920 graduate of Hillsboro High School and of Central Normal College and retired in 1961 after teaching in the Hillsboro school.
  Surviving are a brother, Harry V. Hyatt of Lafayette; a niece and three nephews.
  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Thomas Inabinette officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – thanks to S
